Who are we?
Born 6 years ago, Fifi and Ella was created out of discovering my love for making nappy cakes for family and friends. I realised the process of hand making something with thought, intention and love was something I completely adored. I loved the idea of practical baby items crafted into a gorgeous baby gift, but mostly I loved the reaction these things got. The surprise and pure delight is mostly why I am still doing this now. I decided to pursue this art and started Fifi and Ella Nappy cakes, named after my twin girls Sophia (Fifi) and Eliana (Ella). My love for my girls inspired me to pursue something I loved and I wanted to keep creating gifts that literally lit someone up with excitement and joy. I was obsessed...and still am.
So... What are Nappy Cakes?
Nappy cakes are baby gifts that are made to look like 'cakes', minus the calories! They are made using practical baby items such as nappies, baby wraps, plush toys, face washers, socks, bibs, hats and so much more...
The concept of nappy cakes is just awesome. They are gorgeous to look at and as a bonus, completely practical because every item is usable for bub. Mum and dad will definitely thank you!
